BIOBB II
New structure
New main visual
This design marks a brand-new visual exploration.
• Breaking away from the conventional side-panel logo layout of previous iterations, we move the '3' graphic forward to the toe area, creating visual interplay with the toe protective structure for a distinctive overall appearance.
• In addition, the outsole features an innovative structural solution: the carbon fiber plate is positioned directly beneath the forefoot. This layout allows the foot to engage the plate faster and more directly, working in tandem with the full-length rave midsole block to deliver explosive forward propulsion.
• A brand-new wrap-film molding process is adopted on the lateral side. It maintains sufficient lateral structural rigidity while cutting down TPU usage, keeping the total shoe weight at approximately 290 grams.
We made two versions: the LID version has a more concise appearance and a snugger fit; the Standard version has a larger coverage area and adapts to more foot shapes.
Readjust
Clearly, everyone didn't appreciate such an implicit expression…too.
But the overall visual presentation is quite good,
and the feedback from trying on the new structure is also decent.
We didn't want to easily give up on this concept.
So we updated the last and the main visual, creating the MANAC3.
Due to multiple-factor considerations, the original numeral-3 logo has been replaced with the brand's icon.
The revised shoe-last lowers the overall chassis height and toe-spring gradient, making the shoe well-suited for diverse playing styles.
An offset-toe design conforms to the natural contour of foot bones, which also displays the dart-shaped logo in its maximum visual scale.
BIOBB II becomes the MANAC3 — the same direction, reworked last and main visual.
