BIG3 7.0

BIG3 7.0
Across the Big3 series we tried several upper constructions,
but the midsole feedback never quite landed.
This time we rebuild the knife-edge upper silhouette over a full CQT midsole:
TPU reinforcement outside, a rising collar inside for support.
We want the shoe to last out on the court,
so the toe is lined with Cordura where it rubs,
and we worked with Michelin rubber for the first time for better wear and grip.

The Michelin compound is an obvious step up. Against the regular rubber from our own factory, overall wear life climbs noticeably, and after absorbing sweat it grips better on indoor floors. Adopting it costs an upfront licensee fee to Michelin.

Readjust
We co-developed rubber with Michelin
and after verifying the feasibility of this large sole's structure, we tried to use it to complement the upper of a Jokic IP shoe. We combined Jokic's carpet element with camouflage elements to express the outdoor attributes, covering the pattern over the wear-resistant areas, and added Jokic's signature personal logo to the toe area.
GO and read the TeamJokerII project.

Clearly, in the rushed time,
the plan did not receive a good presentation.
Looking back at the project,
there are many parts that are hard to understand
and also many areas that still need improvement.
But for me,
it was still a valuable opportunity for a try.
